Leaving a few strawberry slices aside for garnish, mash the others with the sugar
Stir them in the hot water until the sugar is dissolved
Stir the lemon juice in cold water and then drop in your ice, lemon slices and strawberry slices for garnish before pouring in your berry-sugar syrup. Garnish with a basil stem!
