Chocolate Chip Cookies


  • 1 cups of flower
  • 1/2 a cup of white sugar
  • 1 cup of packed brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1/2 a teaspoon of baking soda
  • 1/2 a teaspoon of salt
  • 3/4 of a cup of unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
  • 2 cups of chocolate cut into chunks

  1. Preheat the oven to 165 degrees Celsius 
  2. Grease a baking sheet
  3. Combine all the dry ingredients in one bowl and all the wet ingredients - including the sugar - into another bowl. Then slowly combine them.
  4. Place balls of dough about 3 inches appart
